In truth I didn't know this - but now that I do - I'm actually happy for the challenge - means I have to pick the job carefully. Unfortunately, this, as the originals did, still has a number of issues and stuff one can manually improve or by using stuff already made by the community. If anything - this makes you choose wisely and as a bonus for finishing the game you round it out. Mas Effect: Legendary Edition is a really great remaster, that makes lots of stuff from the three games better-looking and fixes a huge list of stuff. Granted - the jobs give you bonus starts in the various respective talents. Mass Effect Legendary Edition > General Discussions > Topic Details. There's no point to it if your able to spec out into a generic homogenized result. However if you play with expanded galaxy mod theres an awesome feature where it unlocks all star-map locations from every game and lets you gather war assets from them. The whole point of the different jobs is to make the job uniquely special with its uniquely tuned talents.
